It's almost 2010!

I can't believe it's the last day of 2009! As I reflect on everything that happened this past year, I can't help but come back to the date May 6, 2009. This is the day I found out that my editor was interested in acquiring The Lipstick Laws... and my dream of becoming published was coming true! 2009 has been a magical year for me... and I hope that 2010 is equally special!

Manuscript Graduation

It's time to get out the party hats and horns! For what, you ask? No, not for the new year... My book, The Lipstick Laws, has graduated from the first stage of edits to copy editing! Woohoo! I am patiently awaiting the arrival of my copy edits to review (I should get them in another 4 or 5 weeks). Until then, I plan on celebrating the new year, filling my new Kindle with good reads, and working dilegently on my work in progress... To be continued, ladies and gents...

Holiday Cheermeister 2009

So... I've been a little absent from blogging for the last...er...month or so. Mainly because I have a part time job as a holiday elf and that keeps me pretty busy through December. And when I'm not elfing, the rest of my time is consumed by watching the movie Elf and A Christmas Story over and over and over and over (you get the idea) again. I thought that since my shopping, wrapping, elfing duties, decorating, baking, holiday movie watching, unwrapping, returning, etc. festivities are done, I'd share a few holiday pictures with you.
