If you read Publishers Marketplace, you may already know this. If not, here is the official announcement of my big news:
Television rights: Amy Holder's THE LIPSTICK LAWS, to producer Teri Weinberg's Yellow Brick Road Productions (The Office, Ugly Betty, The Tudors), by Jerry Kalajian of the Intellectual Property Group.
I'll be writing a more detailed post on how this came about soon. In the meantime, I'm jumping up and down like crazy with excitement! I love the shows that Teri produces & feel lucky that she has my book! Fingers crossed that it goes to production! :)

Today is the last tour stop of my three week blog tour for THE LIPSTICK LAWS. If you're interested in being entered to win a signed copy of my book, please be sure to comment on at least one of this week's posts -LINKS HERE-(one entry per post)...and I'd like to especially urge you to read and comment on my very last guest post HERE, where I embarrass myself & reminisce about my teen traumas that inspired some of the angst in my book.
I will be randomly selecting a winner from the comments collected on the last week of the tour tomorrow night. Thanks for following my tour!

WEEK THREE Lipstick Laws Blog Tour Links
*The winner of the third signed copy giveaway will be randomly selected on April 17 from the comments collected from the April 10 - April 16 posts*
I'm a little behind in posting this exciting announcement (because my week has been CrAzY):
THE LIPSTICK LAWS was officially born this past Monday (April 4). She came into the world wearing red lipstick, weighing in at less than a pound, and measuring 5 & 1/2" x 8 & 1/2"! Woohoo! A big thank you to Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (and my editor, Julia Richardson) for making my publishing dream come true!
If you see my book baby out in the wild, please snap a picture and send it to me at amy@amyholder.com. I'm thinking up a giveaway for later in the month where these pictures will earn you entries. Stay tuned...
I have a lot of Lipstick Laws related interviews and guest posts floating around the internet now. Check out my News & Reviews page for links. If you aren't already following my blog tour through The Teen Book Scene, please see details (and tour links) HERE. I will be giving away three signed copies of THE LIPSTICK LAWS. The winners will be chosen from the tour post comments.
And finally, here is the fabulous James from Book Chic Club reading an excerpt! I never thought I'd see a guy reading about April's bra-stuffing... but I'm pleasantly surprised by James! He's awesome (and brave)!
You can see his original vlog of this on his site HERE or YouTube HERE.
Thanks so much to everyone who is following and commenting on THE LIPSTICK LAWS Teen Book Scene blog tour that's going on right now. For those of you who don't know, I will be giving away a signed copy of my book at the end of every week of the tour (three copies total). To increase your odds of winning a signed copy, please comment on several or all of the posts. For more tour details and links to the posts click HERE.
Now it's time to announce the first signed copy winner! After collecting all of the week #1 entries, I used the Random Name Picker at Classtools.net to help me select the winner. Congratulations to Fiona Chan (Fi-chan) for winning the first week's giveaway! I will be in touch with prize details.
Thanks again to everyone else who has been reading and commenting on my blog tour posts! Please continue to follow and comment on the rest of the tour stops for a chance to win the other signed copies.
Holy crapoli! There are only two more days until THE LIPSTICK LAWS is out in the wild! Dun, dun, dunnnnn.....
Wait..wait...did someone just say THE LIPSTICK LAWS is coming out in bookstores in TWO days?!
Why yes, yes I did say that. And I'm feeling super excited... and a little nervous... and a little, well, like this guy:
Since these three highly caffeinated animals are clearly geeked about the official release of THE LIPSTICK LAWS, how about you get on the geeked bandwagon with them & help me stalk my book in the wild. Any authentic pictures of wild bookstore LIPSTICK LAWS sightings will be greatly appreciated! Please send your picture(s) to amy@amyholder.com... and I will give you a cupcake. Or maybe a signed bookmark will be less messy to mail.
Remember to follow my blog tour and comment at the various tour stops to be in the running to win one of the three signed copies I'm giving away! Details are HERE.
